The dishes you won’t find on most Tampa menus

Mansaf is Jordan’s national dish: lamb cooked in jameed, a tangy sauce made from dried yogurt, served over rice. It’s what our families cook for weddings and Eid, and it’s the dish we’re proudest of.

Our kitchen also cooks musakhan, roasted chicken with sumac and onions on flatbread, and mulukhia, a garlicky stew of jute leaves. Call ahead to ask what’s on today.

Yes. The full menu at Petra Busch is halal, from the shawarma and kebabs to the lamb.

How close are you to USF?

We’re on East Busch Boulevard, a short drive from the USF Tampa campus and Busch Gardens.

Do you have vegetarian and vegan food?

Plenty. Hummus, falafel, babaghanoush, grape leaves, salads and the veggie platter are all meat-free.

Can I order pickup or delivery?

Yes. Order online for pickup, or get delivery through the apps. Delivery and takeout run until 9:40 PM Sunday to Thursday and 10:40 PM on Friday and Saturday.
